SAN JOSE, Calif. & LOS ANGELES-- Everyone.net, the
leader in hosted messaging services, and RPostŪ, the leader in
managed outbound messaging, today announced a partnership to offer
the RPost Registered E-mailŪ service to Everyone.net Business Mail
customers. Fully integrated into the Everyone.net Web Mail
interface, the new Registered E-mail service provides a simple and
secure way to help protect senders of important e-mail messages,
save money on mailing, management and legal costs, and reduce
compliance risk.
Available now to all of Everyone.net's Business
Mail customers, RPost Registered E-Mail messages hold great
evidential weight, and provide senders with protection that stands
up to scrutiny during dispute resolution situations. Unlike the
common e-mail read receipt, the RPost service provides legal and
verifiable proof of delivery, proof of content, and proof of
official time sent and received of any Registered E-mail message
sent to any recipient anywhere in the world, regardless of what
system or software the recipient uses, regardless of their settings,
and without requiring them to respond in any way. Each message is
backed by a record of the transaction and the transaction meta-data
in a verifiable, reconstructable, easy-to-manage form, which is
essential to ensure admissibility of e-mail evidence.
"With the simple click of the 'Send Registered' check box built
in Web Mail, our Business Mail customers can now feel secure in the
knowledge that they can have the upper hand should they face
discovery disputes over the delivery, content or time of an e-mail
message," said Michael Rose, president and CEO of Everyone.net. "We
are pleased to make this service available to our Business Mail
customers."
Today, highly sensitive business is often conducted via e-mail,
resulting in discoverable data that can be scattered across an
organization on servers, desktops and mobile devices. The Registered
E-mail service allows Everyone.net Business Mail customers to
streamline the process of managing and retrieving critical business
communications with an easy-to-use, cost-effective solution. In
addition to obtaining legally verifiable proof of delivery, content
and official time of their important electronic messages and
attachments, Registered E-mail also reduces risk by aiding
compliance with regulatory, statutory and contractual obligations
for e-mail.
"With today's overly-aggressive spam filters, not to mention
sometimes less-than-honest adversaries and even clients, companies
need a simple and secure way to confirm and archive information they
send via e-mail," said Zafar Khan, CEO of RPost. "Now, Everyone.net
Business Mail users can send a message via the Registered E-mail
service with one click of their mouse button, and retain a detailed
electronic trail of the message from sender to receiver, reducing
not only litigation risk, but also the costs of trips to the post
office, storage, e-mail records management and electronic discovery
requests."
Availability and Pricing
The Registered E-mail service is now available for all
Everyone.net Business Mail customers. Each user account receives a
10-unit free trial (good for up to 10 messages) when the service is
initiated. Additional units are available at $59 per user for 100
units.
