App Overview:

RSign for NetDocuments enables clients to seamlessly create e-signature envelopes with one or more NetDocuments documents, and automatically save signed documents in NetDocuments once the e-signature workflow is completed.

Users can start the envelope creation process from RSign or from their NetDocuments interface.

Features:

    • Send-to-Application connector for NetDocuments: Send-to-Application connector enables clients to send NetDocuments documents to RSign with just a few simple clicks.
    • Attach Files from NetDocuments: Clients using the RSign application can compose e-signature envelopes with NetDocuments files without leaving the RSign interface.
    • Upload Signed Documents to NetDocuments: This functionality saves users valuable time by automatically uploading signed documents to NetDocuments after the e-signature workflow is completed. Users can store documents in the original file location or any other folder of their preference.

FAQs:

    • Can an Admin enable the integration for all the end-users at once? No, NetDocuments requires each user to grant access to their account and provides a uniquely generated token.
    • How long is the token valid for? Token expires after 45 minutes of inactivity. If user is still active, the token is valid for another 48 hours. Token also expires if the user erases cache.
    • Can the signed documents be automatically saved back in NetDocuments? Users can choose to automatically save signed documents in the original file location or in a different folder.

How to Install

Installation Tips

Follow the steps below to enable NetDocuments as a storage drive in RSign:

    1. Login to your RSign account
    2. Navigate to SETTINGS>EXTERNAL DRIVES>NETDOCUMENTS
    3. Click on REGISTER and enter your NetDocuments credentials
    4. Follow the instructions on the screen to authorize RSign to access resources on NetDocuments
    5. Navigate to SETTINGS>SYSTEM>STORAGE DRIVES AVAILABLE
    6. Check the box next to NetDocuments

After the above steps are completed, you will be able to compose RSign envelopes with NetDocuments files.

Adding NetDocuments files from RSign

    1. Login to your RSign account
    2. Open the SEND tab
    3. Click on +DOCUMENT and select NetDocuments from the list of available drives
    4. Find the document or documents that you want to enclose in the e-signature envelope

Sending files from NetDocuments to RSign

    1. Login to your NetDocuments account
    2. Select the document or documents that you want to enclose in the e-signature envelope
    3. Click on MORE>SEND TO APPLICATION
    4. Click on SEND TO RSIGN
    5. RSign will open in a browser tab with your files added to the SEND tab
