With 2021 now fully behind us, I thought I’d take you through some of the most popular and shared content Tech Essentials produced. It was obviously a busy year for us and the world at large. The year began with a surge in COVID cases and ended with…a surge in COVID cases. Return to office (RTO) plans were thrown back into disarray, thus necessitating the continued need for WFH products like RMail and RSign. School classes, sporting events and plans of all sorts were also postponed or cancelled.
So, if there was an overarching theme for 2021, it was uncertainty and perhaps dashed expectations. However, we soldier on to 2022 with hope anew. We’d like to think we helped make more sense out of a very strange year, and these are the articles that our fans and customers engaged with most.
Back in February, we outlined some tips to help remote workers solve tech issues for the new WFH reality many of us faced (e.g. how to “close your door” virtually or signal your engagement on zoom calls). In March, we tackled the how media bias can undermine trust in technology providers but how RMail and RSign were objectively great based on their value per feature.
In the spring, we introduced our readers to the concept of SMART and SMART-as-a-service, as we geared up for our Optimize!2021 virtual conference. Here we discussed SMARTer use of your current business applications and security services by exploring more ways to use edge features and automate processes among many other topics.
We also explored the nature of space and time itself with the discovery of a potential new energy source in the universe based on the wobble of Muons. Such a discovery could make a massive impact on our energy consumption and the environment. However, if you want to make an environmental impact right now by not using paper documents in your transactions, switch to RSign.
Towards the end of the summer, we ran a series on the dangers of ransomware where some of the highlights were answering why ransomware attacks are on the rise and how to stop them and how RMail can decisively help protect from ransomware attacks. We also ran another “news-you-can-use” series on the best features to look for when choosing eSignature software and the most important eSignature features you really need. As I’m sure you’re aware by now, RSign’s cutting edge features and affordable cost are the gateways to true eSign bliss.
In December, we rounded out the year talking about the amazing new features now in RMail and how they directly address the top human e-security errors that cause existential workplace crises. Without giving away too much here, I’ll say that RMail Recommends™ and Right Recipient™ will likely be known from here on in as the saviors of many future corporate careers.
Looking back at all these articles, I can’t help but feel proud of all the people at RPost who made these features and products true game changers in 2021. It’s really been a team effort, and we’ve got a very special team.
What’s in store for 2022? Stay tuned, because we’ll have a synopsis in the coming weeks. Happy New Year, and as always, feel free to contact us to discuss how RMail and RSign should be in your tech toolbox for 2022.
